Hustle photographer Bob Mulrenin captured these photos of TNA Knockout Velvet Sky of The Beautiful People at a recent independent show in Queens, New York. The former Northeast independent star, who was once billed as Talia Madison, was trained by ECW Original Jason Knight in Waterbury, Connecticut, and has become one of the biggest female stars in the pro wrestling industry since then. Velvet will be appearing along with the rest of the TNA roster on TNA iMPACT! this Thursday at 9pm Eastern time on SpikeTV.

The Women Superstars Uncensored (WSU) World Champion Mercedes Martinez, teamed up with the number contender to her title in Miss Alicia, and together the two women took on an equal foe, Brittney Savage, who chose a 'dream' tag team partner for herself, the former Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Knockout Champion, Velvet Sky. It would be a match with drastic ramifications for the WSU Champion, as she would suffer a rare pin fall at the hands of Brittney Savage, and largely due to the actions of Miss Alicia, who blindly hit the champion with her 'A Bomb', leaving Martinez vulnerable for the defeat. It wouldn't come without retaliation later.
A special guest referee, Traci Brooks was signed on to officiate the match, and in the early goings of the bout, it appeared that Alicia and Martinez would be a cohesive unit, cruising to victory over Savage and Sky, two women unfamiliar with each other. The epic team of champion and #1 contender worked over both opponents with relative ease. It would be Rick Cataldo's evil interference on behalf of his charge, the WSU Spirit Champion Brittney Savage, that would sway the advantage to the rule breakers. Alicia would take the brunt of the beating before finally making the 'hot tag' to the champion who would restore some order to the match. However, when the action became too much for special guest enforcer Traci Brooks to control, a melee broke out. And while Brooks was held up by the actions of Rick Cataldo and Brittney Savage, who were working on the WSU Champion, Velvet Sky used the opportunity to spray the eyes of Alicia with her foreign substance, blinding the former champion and current J Cup/King and Queen victor. Alicia, obviously blinded and injured by the act, reeled backwards from the spray, and bumped into Martinez, who had just freed herself from the clutches of Cataldo and Savage. During the confusion, Alicia instinctively scooped up the champion and delivered her finisher, the A Bomb, effectively laying Martinez out. Cataldo, watching the scene unfold, immediately called for Savage to make the cover. It was a wise gesture, as Savage was able to pick up the one, two, three, and an unbelievable victory over a woman who many consider to be the very best in the entire world.

Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling returns to the UK in January 2011 for “Maximum iMPACT! 2011,” TNA’s biggest and most action-packed tour ever - with tickets going on sale Friday 4th June 2010.

Wrestling legend Ric Flair announced the dates while in London for “Maximum iMPACT! 2011”. "The Nature Boy" heads up the roster of stars coming to Glasgow, Manchester and London's Wembley Arena. He'll be joined by World Heavyweight Champion Rob Van Dam and "The Charismatic Enigma" Jeff Hardy. All three will be appearing for the first time in England as TNA Superstars. Also named for the tour are British stars Desmond Wolfe and Doug Williams, former TNA Tag Team Champions Beer Money and TNA Knockouts The Beautiful People.
