Velvet sent me this and a few more photo to share with you all. Velvet threw out the first pitch last Thursday (June 24th) for the Brooklyn Cyclones. They are the minor league team for the New York Mets for those who didn't know. This event was to promote the July 2nd TNA event at their home field. We go to the Beautiful People's dressing room where Madison Rayne is primping in the mirror, and Madison asks Velvet Sky if she's gone to visit Lacey Von Erich yet, and then drops a remark about Lacey being used to being on her back. Velvet is standing there sulking and isn't talking, so Madison gets in her face and tells her that she needs to get her head on Angelina Love or it'll be her getting carried out on a stretcher tonight.

Angelina Love vs Velvet Sky

Velvet backjumps Angelina to start and sends Angelina to the floor, but Angelina grabs her by the ankle and drags her out to the floor where she takes her down with a spear. Angelina tries to ram Velvet into the stairs, but Velvet puts on the brakes and sends Angelina into the stairs. Velvet rolls her back in the ring and mounts her for more punches, then repeatedly rams the back of Angelina's head into the mat. Velvet with a Skyliner, but instead of going for the pin she starts yelling at Angelina. Velvet goes for another Skyliner but Angelina breaks free and nails Velvet with a pump kick. Angelina grabs a chair from ringside and puts it down in the ring, but Velvet goes to the eyes and goes for what appeared to be an attempted Hotshot, but Angelina totally missed the ropes and came down on her face. Velvet sees the chair and goes to DDT Angelina, but Angelina reverses and DDTs Velvet on the chair and the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Velvet Sky by DQ

Madison Rayne comes out on the ramp with the Knockouts Title belt and mocks Angelina, saying that the title is hers and Angelina isn't getting it back.

Velvet Not Quitting TNA

Earlier in the week there were some reports floating around that Velvet was threatening to quit TNA once her contract was up due to the Knockouts getting under payed. I e-mailed Velvet to ask her to clear up the rumors floating around and she said that all those reports are completely false and that she has indeed signed a new contract with TNA. We hope this clears up any confusion that was going around with those rumors. Remember to always check with us first to get the most accurate news for Velvet Sky!

TNA Relaunches "Xplosion" Program

Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling has re-launched its one-hour weekly program “TNA Xplosion”.

Currently seen internationally, the re-fitted show will feature new and exclusive matches with the TNA Superstars, as well as updates on everything TNA, including coverage of its flagship series “iMPACT!”

“TNA features more talented superstars than ever before in company history, so it made sense to refresh “Xplosion” and make it a more important part of the TNA brand,” said TNA Wrestling President Dixie Carter.

In addition to the format changes, “Xplosion” will feature a new announce team, a new logo, graphics and theme music performed by Victory Records recording artist “Taproot”.

TNA House Show Results - Columbus, OH

1.) Velvet Sky vs. Sarita

Match went about 9 minutes. Started off well, the crowd was really heated to just see some wrestling. First two minutes consisted of a lot of stalling and Velvet Sky taunting to the crowd. Around the 5 minute mark, some fans started to get restless. There were a ton of near falls in the last three minutes or so, most of them looked very sloppy. One had Velvet arguing with the ref which lead to a sloppy schoolgirl, the other, had Velvet going for a bodyslam and Sarita reversed it into what I think was supposed to be a cradle pinfall attempt. Finish saw Sarita go for a float over DDT that looked kinda botched and Velvet hit a DDT of her own for the pinfall.
