Jamie got her start in wrestling by training at Jason Knight's "House of Pain Pro Wrestling Dojo." She came into TNA/Impact at the start of the new Knockout division with the then brand new Knockouts Championship. Velvet later formed the most popular women's tag team of all the "The Beautiful People" with Angelina Love. She won the Knockouts Tag Team Championship with Lacey Von Erich & Madison Rayne as part of a new version of the Beautiful People. Date: February 16th, 2012 Show: Impact Recap: The Knockouts have an over the top battle royal to determine the #1 contender to Gail Kim's Knockouts Championship. Velvet is one of the last 3 Knockouts standing with Sarita and Angelina Love. Angelina & Sarita double team Velvet and keep her down as long as they can. As Angelina is trying to throw Velvet out Sarita take advantage and throws Angelina out. It's down to just Velvet and Sarita. As Sarita is charging Velvet she pulls the bottom rope down and Sarita goes flying over it. Velvet has won the battle royal....so we think. Madison runs in from ringside and throws Velvet out making her the official # 1 contender. Detailed Results

This past week TNA’s IMPACT WRESTLING stars Velvet Sky, Kazarian and Christopher Daniels met many of their fans at UK toy store “The Entertainer” near Wembley Arena prior to their matches for TNA’s United Kingdom taping of IMPACT WRESTLING where they signed autographs and received tokens of appreciation from an amazing group of fans.
Even more amazing photos have come in from fans after meeting Velvet this past Friday in Stratford, UK. We have 17 new candids thanks to Thom & Louis for sending them all in for us. Also, Louis sent us the scan of the outstanding drawing he did for Velvet and you can check all those out in our gallery.
As we get closer to Valentine’s Day I was hoping more of Velvet’s “Be My Velentine” photos would be released and guess what? 3 more new photos are out! This year Maxim is letting the world decide who should be featured in their 2012 Hot 100 list. Although Velvet is not one of the ones on the list we can write her name in to make sure she does make it. No reason she shouldn’t be on this list so now its up to us to make sure it happens. Last night Impact Wrestling did their first ever television tapings in the UK! They did the tapings for the February 2nd & 9th shows, but Velvet only made an appearance on the February 9th taping and below are the spoilers to what she was up to.
Velvet posted 2 unreleased photos from her Impact Wrestling photoshoot “Locker Room Babe” on her official Twitter page. These 2 are gorgeous photos and love seeing news ones always popping up. Check them out at the link below in our gallery.
Coming out of an upset match where she was unable to attain the #1 contender’s spot for the Knockouts Championship, Velvet Sky stops by to discuss her future and her goals to gain back the title. JB also goes more into the “relationship” between Eric Young and ODB as they stop by and talk about their win tonight against Winter and Angelina Love… which is not without it’s humorous moments, as one would come to expect from this dynamic duo.
#1 Contender’s Match: Velvet Sky vs Mickie James vs Tara
They all shake hands and then Tara boots Velvet in the midsection, Mickie goes for a clothesline but Tara falls into a back bridge and Mickie wipes Velvet out with a clothesline. Velvet recovers and dumps Mickie to the floor, then goes to cover Tara but Tara picks her up and rams her to the corner and goes for the Widow’s Peak. Mickie breaks that up with a boot to the midsection and gets an O’Connor roll for 2. Mickie and Tara go at it in the corner and Tara just slams Mickie face first into the mat by the hair. Tara charges Mickie in the corner and runs into Mickie’s elbow as we go to commercial.
We come back as Velvet hits a monkey flip on Tara and goes for the Pedigree, but Mickie stops her with a hanging neckbreaker. Tara slams Mickie and does the ass shaking standing moonsault, Mickie rolls out of the way and Velvet starts beating them both up. Velvet with a flying headscissors on Mickie but Tara takes her out with a clothesline. Mickie with a flapjack on Tara as I think I see Ron Jeremy sitting in the audience behind her, then she goes up top and takes Velvet out with the flying hooch to the mouth. Tara dumps Velvet to the floor, Mickie spinkicks Tara in the jaw and covers, but Tara gets her hand on the bottom rope at 2. Mickie goes for the DDT, Velvet takes her out with a clothesline, Tara gives Velvet a spinning side suplex onto Mickie and covers Mickie for the win.
The Impact Valentine’s Day photoshoot is here! Or atleast part of it I’m hoping. 2 new photos of Velvet from her attire in the ShopTNA Valentine’s video have been released. Very stunning and I really hope it’s not the only photos that get released. I have given this shoot the name “Be My Velentine” and it is now up in our gallery.
