Real Name: Jamie Lynn Szantyr AKA: Talia Madison, Velvet Sky DOB: June 2nd 1981 Impact Debut: October 5th, 2007 Birthplace: New Britain, CT Mini Bio: Jamie Szantyr (Talia Madison/Velvet Sky) is currently an Impact Knockout. Jamie got her start in wrestling by training at Jason Knight's "House of Pain Pro Wrestling Dojo." She came into TNA/Impact at the start of the new Knockout division with the then brand new Knockouts Championship. Velvet later formed the most popular women's tag team of all the "The Beautiful People" with Angelina Love. She won the Knockouts Tag Team Championship with Lacey Von Erich & Madison Rayne as part of a new version of the Beautiful People. Date: February 16th, 2012 Show: Impact Recap: The Knockouts have an over the top battle royal to determine the #1 contender to Gail Kim's Knockouts Championship. Velvet is one of the last 3 Knockouts standing with Sarita and Angelina Love. Angelina & Sarita double team Velvet and keep her down as long as they can. As Angelina is trying to throw Velvet out Sarita take advantage and throws Angelina out. It's down to just Velvet and Sarita. As Sarita is charging Velvet she pulls the bottom rope down and Sarita goes flying over it. Velvet has won the battle royal....so we think. Madison runs in from ringside and throws Velvet out making her the official # 1 contender. Detailed Results

Impact Wrestling taped 2 weeks worth of television in Macon, GA and although Velvet was not featured anywhere on the November 3rd show she was however taped for the November 10th episode. This is the episode leading up to the Turning Point PPV. Check below to see what Velvet will be up to in about 2 weeks time.

Now being BFF’s you always share clothes and Velvet decided to barrow some boots that Angelina showed off in an earlier shoot for her “Sexy & Rock ‘N Roll” shoot. It’s only Halloween, but it has sure felt like Christmas for all of us with the amount of shoots being released. Velvet’s Impact Halloween shoot has been released! I named this shoot “Nightmare on Vel Street” being that Velvet is dressed as none other than Freddy Krueger for her shoot. I must say Velvet looks absolutely stunning. Probably one of my most favorite shoots of hers to date. Check out the shoot now up in our gallery.
2 shoots in 2 days?! It’s like Christmas time for any Velvet Sky fan. Todays shoot features Velvet in a “Save the Tatas” shirt supporting breast cancer awareness for the month of October. It’s finally here. One of the shoots both Velvet and Impact photographer Lee South have been teasing us with. Velvet’s very own football shoot. Of course Velvet took the New England Patriots, it’s a close home town team for her. As always Velvet doesn’t disappoint in this shoot. See for yourself now over at SkyHighImgs.net.
Velvet is backstage and says winning the Knockouts Title was the highlight of her life, and she has nobody but the fans to thank for being behind her 110%, and that’s what she’s going to do right now…..
We head out to the ring so Velvet can thank the fans. She’s proud to be able to finally stand in front of the fans the Knockouts Champion, and with all the bullies she’s had to deal with and all the bumps and bruises, this is for the people who tried to shut her down and make her feel like she would never be good enough to be the champion. It took four years, but she did it and the fans have been great to her. Karen Jarrett’s music hits and she comes out to the ring dragging Traci Brooks with her. Karen has the power to fire the both of them, but that would be way too easy, and nobody sees Karen out here crying about crap. If she thinks Traci’s had it bad, she hasn’t seen anything yet because she’s about to make her life a living hell. She has security eject Traci, then tells Velvet she doesn’t know who she thinks she is or who she’s screwing with, and her first instinct was to strip Velvet of the title, but Jeff convinced her to take the high road, so she wants to see Velvet bleed instead. She’s got just the person to make it happen, but first she tells Velvet to grow eyes in the back of her head.
Madison Rayne’s music hits and she comes strolling down the ramp, but suddenly Gail Kim comes out of the crowd and attacks Velvet from behind and she and Madison Rayne beat the champion down and then all three of them celebrate in the middle of the ring.

New TNA Knockouts Champion Velvet Sky came out to the ring, talking about her road to winning the championship. Karen Jarrett then comes out to the ring alongside with Traci Brooks. She doesn’t mind that Velvet is champion, but still calls her a “b—h”. She also condemns what Traci did on Sunday night. Security come out and takes Brooks out of the arena.
Karen tells Velvet that she’ll be getting what’s coming to her. Madison Rayne’s music hits and she comes out to the ring, causing Velvet to yell at her. Suddenly, former WWE Diva Gail Kim runs in from the crowd and attacks Velvet Sky, returning to the company as a heel. Both Kim and Madison double team beat down Velvet. Madison, Gail and Karen all leave happy with what they just did.

Also at Bound For Glory, a new Knockouts Champion was crowned as Velvet Sky realized her dream of capturing the gold! Velvet will be on the broadcast this Thursday, but Knockouts VP Karen Jarrett isn’t happy that Velvet came out victorious. What will happen between Velvet Sky and Karen Jarrett this Thursday? Is Jarrett about to make Sky’s championship reign a living hell?
TNA Knockout Women’s Championship
Special Guest Referee: Karen Jarrett
- Winter (c) vs. Mickie James vs. Velvet Sky vs. Madison Rayne
The special guest referee, Karen Jarrett, is actually the last woman to enter the ring, and she’s smiling all the way down, despite being booed quite heavily by the crowd.
The bell rings and it looks like Winter and Mickie will be kicking things off. We get a lock up and Mickie takes her right over with a roll up, but Karen doesn’t even try to count. Winter is able to lock in an arm bar, and Karen begins counting for some reason. Mickie fights up to her feet, but she’s yanked back down to the mat by her hair. Winter slams Mickie’s head into the turnbuckle before sending her hard into the corner. Winter charges but she’s caught by an elbow. Mickie is able to hit a headscissors, and a drop down neckbreaker, but Winter rolls to the outside. Rayne comes in and slaps Mickie with something, but I can’t see what it is.
Mickie and Rayne go back and forth, with Karen supporting Rayne. Rayne tosses Mickie to the outside and Sky comes in, hitting a couple of knees and bull-dogging Rayne to the mat, but when Sky goes for the pin, Karen won’t count. Rayne slams Sky to the mat, but Winter comes in to break up a pin. The heels fight amongst themselves, but Karen stops them and sends them out of the ring. Sky and James are in now and they’re slow to start things out. Sky locks in a side headlock and goes for a roll up, but Karen still won’t count. Mickie rolls up Sky and gets the same treatment.
Mickie and Sky continue to fight it out but the crowd is not liking this at all. James snap mares Sky and hits a low dropkick before slapping Rayne off of the apron. When Mickie goes back she’s caught by chops and kicks from Sky. Sky connects with a flying headscissors before sending Winter off the apron. Mickie and Sky continue to trade blows, but they’re pulled to the outside by Rayne and Winter respectively. Now all four women are in the ring with the heels standing tall. The faces are able to turn things around, but Karen threatens to throw them both out. Winter shoves Sky out to the floor and James sends out Rayne. Mickie sends Winter into the corner.
Mickie and Karen argue between themselves, and that allows Angelina to hand something to Winter. Winter tries to spit mist into Mickie’s eyes, but James drops down and Winter sprays Karen. Mickie hits a big jumping DDT, but there’s no ref. Traci Brooks runs down to the ring to attend to Karen. Mickie and Winter fight to the outside. Sky hits a double underhook facebuster to Rayne and pins her for the three count, with Brooks counting.
