The show opened with a bang, actually a BANG BANG as PWS Guest Commissioner Mick Foley hit the ring to welcome to the crowd. Foley was interrupted by Reality Check members Kevin Matthews, Danny Demanto, Velvet Sky, and PWS Champion Devon Moore. Foley made it very clear that as Commissioner he would not tolerate any nonsense from Reality Check however this did settle well PWS’ resident trouble makers as Velvet Sky came back on Foley strong which resulted in Foley firing her! That’s right, Velvet Sky was fired from PWS in the opening segment as Mick Foley laid down the law.

And as fans were saying afterwards .. the greatest match ever in the Queens Elks Lodge occured as “The New Horror” Sami Callihan took on “The Boricua Beast” Dan Maff in a #1 Contenders Match. These two men beat the holy hell out of each other from bell to bell. There was hard hitting, technical wrestling, and a lot of brawling including Callihan putting Maff through one of the vendor’s tables! The action spilled all over the building with chairs legitimately flying as the crowd was very split between these two warriors. In the end, it was Callihan defeating Maff in a brutal match to have the right to challenge PWS Champion Devon Moore for the belt.

Moore however had other plans as he came to the ring to excercise his PWS Title defense against the worn out Callihan. Moore quickly hit Callihan with a huge piledriver, however at the last second Callihan managed to put his shoulder up as the crowd erupted firmly behind Callihan. After ref Brett Lauderdale was knocked out Reality Check’s Danny Demanto ran to the ring to assist Moore but was cut off by Dan Maff whom hit Demanto with a huge Burning Hammer as the crowd erupted. Callihan came back at Moore and had him pinned in the middle of the ring however there was no ref. As ref Matt Bennett quickly ran out , Reality Check’s Kevin Matthews was right behind him and pulled Bennett out on the Two Count. As Kevin began to get involved in the action , Commissioner Mick Foley quickly came out to put a stop to it, but not before Reality Check’s Velvet Sky snuck up to Foley from behind, however she was met with a Socko to the face as Callihan applied his Stretch Muffler to Moore to win the title as the crowd erupted for their new champion!

Velvet Sky is backstage and she is on her way to the ring.

Out to the ring with Velvet Sky, who has some unfinished business with ODB. The attack from behind doesn’t fly with her, so she wants ODB to come out here and say what her problem is. ODB joins Velvet in the ring and says that about a year ago she got a call that she wasn’t needed around here anymore, and she wondered if it is because of her bad attitude or lack of talent, and she decided it was because Velvet got her fired. Velvet has no idea how she could have gotten ODB fired and she’s tired of everyone blaming Velvet for everything because she’s earned her spot here in TNA and has proven herself by working her ass off to get where she is. ODB says she worked her ass off by spending time on her back and asks if she breaks a sweat grinding her ass on the ropes coming into the ring and makes fun of her giant silicone boobs. Velvet gives her a death stare and ODB asks if she’s going to cry about it, and tells Velvet she’ll give her something to cry about, and suckerpunches her, then gets on top of Velvet and chokes her while yelling “You like it on your back, don’t ya?” TNA security runs in and tries to pull them apart, but ODB breaks loose and goes after Velvet again with her belt. Velvet scurries out of the ring and ODB goes after her again and needs to be restrained again.

Wrestling legends Sting and Kurt Angle head up the roster of stars from TNA’s flagship television program IMPACT WRESTLING coming to Nottingham, Manchester and London’s Wembley Arena on January 26-28.

World Heavyweight Champion Sting will be making his first wrestling appearance in the UK for almost a decade, while Olympic Gold Medallist Kurt Angle will shortly be arriving in Britain to speak to media and fans about the Tour.

Also starring at the events will be “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles, “Samoan Submission Machine” Samoa Joe, Knockout Velvet Sky, Mr. Anderson, Matt Morgan, Bully Ray, Mexican America and many more to be confirmed over the coming months.

While Kurt Angle & Jeff Jerrett are in the ring, Jarrett’s music hits and Karen Jarrett, in a wheelchair, comes up through the floor a la Kurt’s entrance and tells Kurt that Jeff won’t be alone at Slammiversary and (Velvet Sky sneaks out of the back behind Karen) Kurt will never, ever take her out. Velvet snatches the mic out of Karen’s hand and asks the crowd if they want to see Karen go for a ride. She shoves Karen’s wheelchair down the ramp and Jeff tries to stop her, but she comes flying out of the chair anyway and gets knocked silly while Velvet and Kurt laugh it up.

The Jarretts are backstage and Jeff is on the phone with Eric Bischoff and tells Karen that Velvet will never be a problem again because she will take on Winter and Angelina Love in a handicap match tonight. <

Winter says that it's over after tonight and once Velvet Sky is gone, they'll be alone just like before, in a different time and place. Winter asks Angelina if she remembers, then kisses Angelina and leads her out to the ring.

Winter & Angelina Love vs Velvet Sky
Velvet and Winter tangle briefly before Winter tags in Angelina. Velvet suckerpunches Winter off the apron and then nails Angelina, but Angelina no-sells and tags out to Winter. Winter with a go behind into a waistlock, but Velvet pops out and gets a snapmare and a diving baseball slide for 2. Winter rams Velvet into her corner and tags out to Angelina and they go for a double clothesline, but Velvet ducks and wipes both of them out with stereo clotheslines. Velvet with a sleeper on Angelina, but Angelina doesn’t have the required equipment to make this hold effective and easily escapes. Winter snaps Velvet down on the top rope and Angelina wipes her out with a clothesline and then rains punches down on Velvet. Winter and Angelina tag in and out on Velvet and work her over, then Winter hits a spinning uranage backbreaker. Angelina comes in and goes to pick Velvet up, but Velvet small packages her and gets the win out of nowhere.

Winner: Velvet Sky
Winter is irate, and suddenly ODB comes out of nowhere and blindsides Velvet, laying her out.
