Real Name: Jamie Lynn Szantyr AKA: Talia Madison, Velvet Sky DOB: June 2nd 1981 Impact Debut: October 5th, 2007 Birthplace: New Britain, CT Mini Bio: Jamie Szantyr (Talia Madison/Velvet Sky) is currently an Impact Knockout. Jamie got her start in wrestling by training at Jason Knight's "House of Pain Pro Wrestling Dojo." She came into TNA/Impact at the start of the new Knockout division with the then brand new Knockouts Championship. Velvet later formed the most popular women's tag team of all the "The Beautiful People" with Angelina Love. She won the Knockouts Tag Team Championship with Lacey Von Erich & Madison Rayne as part of a new version of the Beautiful People. Date: February 16th, 2012 Show: Impact Recap: The Knockouts have an over the top battle royal to determine the #1 contender to Gail Kim's Knockouts Championship. Velvet is one of the last 3 Knockouts standing with Sarita and Angelina Love. Angelina & Sarita double team Velvet and keep her down as long as they can. As Angelina is trying to throw Velvet out Sarita take advantage and throws Angelina out. It's down to just Velvet and Sarita. As Sarita is charging Velvet she pulls the bottom rope down and Sarita goes flying over it. Velvet has won the battle royal....so we think. Madison runs in from ringside and throws Velvet out making her the official # 1 contender. Detailed Results

We head out to the ring where Karen Angle has called all the TNA Knockouts to the ring. She says that her crazy ex-husband has hired some slut to take her out, so before anything can happen, she called them out here to try and find out who Kurt’s secret weapon is. She starts by picking on the catering woman, who Karen has noticed fawning over Kurt for years now. Karen knows that the quickest way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, but the lady says she cooks for Kurt and a bunch of other wrestlers here, and she asks if she can go since she has to cook her pot roast. Karen tells her that her tacos suck and lets her go, so she moves on to Jolene the Seamstress, who she’s seen running her fingers up and down Kurt’s body for the last six years. Jolene says she’s doing her job and it’s what they pay her to do, so Karen tells her to take her dancing fingers and dance them out of the ring. Karen moves on to Miss Tessmacher, and it’s a coincidence that they arrived at the same building at the same time, isn’t it? Tessmacher says they both work for TNA and both showed up to earn their paychecks, so Karen points out that they were at the same gym at the same time this morning. Tessmacher points out the other 25 wrestlers working out there and then drops her glasses so she can bend over and pop the crowd. Karen sends Tessmacher on her way, so Karen moves over to Sarita & Rosita, and she says Kurt likes them hot and spicy. She makes a weak connection between Kurt being an American hero and Sarita & Rosita doing the American thing, but Sarita tells her to get her head out of her ass and watch Impact because they’re Mexican Americans and want nothing to do with her husband. They leave, so Karen points out that Madison Rayne & Tara are former TNA World Champions like Kurt and that must make them think they’re special like Kurt. Madison says that Tara probably did lay down for Kurt because she’s a dirty, filthy slut. Tara spits her gum out at Madison and walks off, then Madison tells Karen to watch out in case Tara tries to screw Jeff too. Karen brings us to Velvet Sky and says she’s every man’s dream and every woman’s nightmare, she’s lost her best friend and has gone as far as she’s ever going to go in TNA, but if she lands herself on the arm of Kurt Angle, that would catapult her to the top. She’s at the end of her velvet rope, so she’s decided to swing on someone else’s, and she’s heard that Velvet is real good at laying down. Velvt goes to slap Karen, but Jeff catches her hand and reads her the riot act. Velvet slaps Jeff instead, so Karen shoves her and Velvet catfights Karen. Jeff tries to separate them, but Angelina comes marching out and thrusts Velvet to the mat with a devastating hair yank while Winter threatens So Cal Val to ring the bell. Okay, I guess we have our opening match…
Angelina Love vs Velvet Sky
Angelina beats Velvet up a bunch, and Velvet tries to fight back, but Angelina no-sells all of Velvet’s offense and lays her out again, repeatedly choking her and trying to tear her hair out. Angelina goes after the eyes, but Velvet finally comes back with a jawbreaker and a clothesline. Velvet tries to go after Winter, but Winter gouges her eyes and snaps Velvet on the second rope, allowing Angelina to lock in a rear naked choke. Velvet tries to hang on but finally passes out and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner: Angelina Love
The Jarretts are backstage and Karen says she went through all the TNA hos, and now she’s freaking out over the war still going on. Velvet Sky says that Karen called her a slut, but she’s hot and doesn’t need Angle, and she has enough problems with Angelina Love. We go back to the Jarretts and Karen has no idea who the mistress is, and Jeff says he’s going to find out who the mistress is because this is a bunch of crap.

Velvet Sky is backstage saying she’s not sure what to do because she’s been best friends with Angelina for so long and she knows Angelina’s not under her own control…but Angelina went too far by coming after her last week. Winter comes in and says Velvet can start by quitting the whining and complaining, and she doesn’t like that Velvet’s accusing her of stuff. Velvet tells Winter she knows that she’s drugged Angelina, and the only reason she hasn’t gone to the authorities is because she wants to enjoy taking care of Winter herself. Angelina comes from behind and nails Velvet, beats her down, and rams her into the wall. Winter says they’ll finish cleaning this mess up next week and tells Angelina to follow her.

*Impact opens with Karen and Jeff Jarrett coming out. Karen demands all the Knockouts come out as she is sure one of them was Kurt Angle’s mistress. She goes down the Knockouts one by one and comes down to Velvet Sky. She rips apart Sky, who goes to slap Karen but Jeff ends up taking the slap. Winter and Angelina Love go after Velvet…
*Angelina Love defeated Velvet Sky via submission when Sky passed out to a Love submission. Love was doing the trance deal where nothing hurt her when Sky was on the offense.

Before Velvet went live on chat last night for the Lockdown PPV we see Velvet sitting in the makeup chair getting ready when Karen Jarrett comes in and tells her to leave since she is actually on the PPV and needs to get ready. To watch the complete video click here
Sarita and Rosita get into the ring and Sarita says that this is typical. They’re always being screwed over, and everyone saw it tonight. Sarita says why isn’t she the Knockouts Champion? It’s because they can’t stand the fact that Mexican America is better than them. She says they’ve plowed through every Knockout on the roster, and they’re going to do what they want, when they want to. Rosita speaks a bit in Spanish, and Sarita translates it, saying they’re not going anywhere. They’re interrupted by Velvet Sky who comes out, drop toe holds Rosita and tackles Sarita, pounding her face in before tossing her across the ring and kicking her to the outside. Velvet poses to a lot of love from the crowd.
