Real Name: Jamie Lynn Szantyr AKA: Talia Madison, Velvet Sky DOB: June 2nd 1981 Impact Debut: October 5th, 2007 Birthplace: New Britain, CT Mini Bio: Jamie Szantyr (Talia Madison/Velvet Sky) is currently an Impact Knockout. Jamie got her start in wrestling by training at Jason Knight's "House of Pain Pro Wrestling Dojo." She came into TNA/Impact at the start of the new Knockout division with the then brand new Knockouts Championship. Velvet later formed the most popular women's tag team of all the "The Beautiful People" with Angelina Love. She won the Knockouts Tag Team Championship with Lacey Von Erich & Madison Rayne as part of a new version of the Beautiful People. Date: February 16th, 2012 Show: Impact Recap: The Knockouts have an over the top battle royal to determine the #1 contender to Gail Kim's Knockouts Championship. Velvet is one of the last 3 Knockouts standing with Sarita and Angelina Love. Angelina & Sarita double team Velvet and keep her down as long as they can. As Angelina is trying to throw Velvet out Sarita take advantage and throws Angelina out. It's down to just Velvet and Sarita. As Sarita is charging Velvet she pulls the bottom rope down and Sarita goes flying over it. Velvet has won the battle royal....so we think. Madison runs in from ringside and throws Velvet out making her the official # 1 contender. Detailed Results

#1 – March 8th Impact – Velvet Sky Wins Gold
The time has come to reveal the #1 moment for Velvet Sky in the year 2010 and it is none other than Velvet capturing her 1st ever TNA gold by defeating Sarita & Taylor Wilde and Tara and Angelina Love with Madison Rayne to win the vacated TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship! One of the highest moments for Velvet this year and really an amazing match at that. Velvet finally getting to win a title after 3 years in TNA and the then Beautiful People had a very long run with the titles. What else would really be the #1 moment! It was long overdue and seeing Velvet finally rewarded for her hard work was just the best. Hopefully in 2011 Velvet can go one step bigger and capture her 1st ever Knockouts title! Hope you all enjoyed the countdown and the recap of Velvet’s amazing year.
We go backstage to Sarita, who is appalled that Velvet Sky is challenging her to a strap match tonight, and what she did to Velvet in the locker room last week will be nothing compared to what she’ll do to her tonight.
Strap Match: Velvet Sky vs Sarita
Sarita stalls while Velvet yells at her to put it on, and finally Sarita attaches the strap to her wrist and the match starts. Sarita immediately bails to the floor but Velvet yanks her off her feet and goes out after her, and Sarita gets up and rams her into the apron and then starts whipping Velvet with the strap. Sarita rolls Velvet back in the ring and ties her wrists with the strap and starts dragging her from corner to corner. Sarita gets to 2 before trying (and missing) an elbowdrop. Velvet is revitalized and gets a couple of strap clotheslines and then uses the strap to trip Sarita and the strap comes free from Sarita. Referee reattaches it, and Velvet goes right back to whipping Sarita and then chokes her with the strap, using it to hang Sarita over her back as she goes from corner to corner with Sarita touching each corner right behind her. Finally when we get to the fourth corner Sarita puts on the brakes and yanks Velvet across by the strap and touches the fourth corner for the win.
Winner: Sarita
Sarita attacks Velvet with the strap again after the match until Angelina Love runs in to make the save. Velvet picks herself up and yells at Angelina to just leave her alone.
We go to commercial and when we come back, we see that during the commercial break Velvet was having a fit about losing to Sarita again and walked out. We now go backstage where Angelina finds Sarita and kicks her ass for screwing with her friend. Sarita fights back and rams Angelina into the stairs, but Winter comes out of nowhere and drags Sarita off, sending her packing, and then goes to check on her partner.

#2 – August 19th Impact
We are winding down on the countdown and for #2 it was a very exciting moment for any true Velvet Sky & Beautiful People fan. The original Beautiful People officially reunite! After months of feuding Angelina & Velvet put their differences aside to come together once again. Ever since Angelina returned every true Beautiful People fan waited for this day and that is why it is ranked on our countdown at #2. This moment was truly one everyone remember and anticipated and really made an impact for the rest of the year with the original Beautiful People feuding with former member Madison Rayne for months.

#3 – Lockdown PPV – April 18th, 2010
We are going all the way back to the Lockdown PPV in April for #3 on the countdown. This was a HUGE match for The Beautiful People who at the time were the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions. All the Knockouts titles were on the line and everyone was in a steel cage. The then Knockouts Champion was Angelina Love. Amazing match by all the girls, but in the end Madison Rayne pinned Angelina’s partner Tara to capture her first Knockouts Championship and retained the Tag Team Championship with Velvet & LAcey Von Erich. This gave The Beautiful People every Knockouts championship in TNA. One of Velvet highest points for the year 2010!

#4 – No Surrender PPV – September 5th, 2010
#4 on our countdown is Velvet’s win at the No Surrender PPV in September versus her former tag team partner Madison Rayne. This was a huge win for Velvet and her first ever singles win on a TNA PPV. This broke in at #4 because it was just an amazing match from Velvet and really capped off her rivalry with former partner Madison proving she was the real leader of the then Beautiful People.

Since the next 2 days are gonna be super busy for me and I probably won’t have any time to get on my computer until after Christmas I just want to wish everyone who visits the site and supports Velvet everyday a very Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays! Velvet comments on the new TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions Winter and her The Beautiful People partner Angelina Love. Saying how she was suppose to be in the match, but jealous Sarita had to take her out by chocking her out because she didn’t like seeing Velvet on top. She talked about how Winter and Angelina are a fluke of a team and Angelina and her should be the real champions, but she couldn’t perform after what Sarita had done to her.
Sarita walks into Velvet Sky’s locker room with a strap behind her back, and Velvet asks if she can help her with something, and Sarita calmly closes the door behind her and we go to commercial.
Okay, we’re back from commercial and Sarita is doing with the strap what we probably expected her to do with it. She yells at Velvet that she can’t get in her ring without Angelina and expect to fight her, but that just serves to infuriate Velvet, who fights back and rams Sarita into a wall, and then they take turns beating each other up in pretty rough fashion and ramming one another into walls, the desk, and the fight ends with Sarita choking Velvet out and telling her that she swears she’s going to kill her. Angelina finally comes to the rescue and Sarita heads for the hills.
Angelina comes out to the ring by herself since Velvet just caught a beating from Sarita. Winter comes out to be Angelina’s partner and Angelina & Winter end up winning the vacated Knockouts Tag Team Championship

#5 – December 9th, 2010 Impact
Next on our countdown we go to just 2 weeks ago on the December 9th edition of Impact. Velvet along with the original founder of The Beautiful People Angelina Love teamed up to earn a spot in the finals for the vacated TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship. Angelina & Velvet are the original Knockouts tag team and with the win in this match against Velvet’s arch rival Sarita and Daffney they moved on the the finals for the championship which will air tomorrow nights Impact. Really one of the highlights of the year and propelling Velvet forward and on her way to her possible second tag team title run.
Velvet made it onto the Bleacher Report for the “100 Hottest Women of Wrestling.” Velvet came it at #36! To check out the entire list to see who else made it and who came in in front of Velvet click the link below.
