She came into TNA/Impact at the start of the new Knockout division with the then brand new Knockouts Championship. Velvet later formed the most popular women's tag team of all the "The Beautiful People" with Angelina Love. She won the Knockouts Tag Team Championship with Lacey Von Erich & Madison Rayne as part of a new version of the Beautiful People. Date: February 16th, 2012 Show: Impact Recap: The Knockouts have an over the top battle royal to determine the #1 contender to Gail Kim's Knockouts Championship. Velvet is one of the last 3 Knockouts standing with Sarita and Angelina Love. Angelina & Sarita double team Velvet and keep her down as long as they can. As Angelina is trying to throw Velvet out Sarita take advantage and throws Angelina out. It's down to just Velvet and Sarita. As Sarita is charging Velvet she pulls the bottom rope down and Sarita goes flying over it. Velvet has won the battle royal....so we think. Madison runs in from ringside and throws Velvet out making her the official # 1 contender. Detailed Results

Over at Angelina Love’s official website Angel-Williams.net Angelina recent did an exclusive interview with the fans. I asked her question #1 about Velvet and another fan asked another one. For her full interview visit her official site.
Question 1: Do you miss working with Velvet & Madison in The Beautiful People or do you prefer working as a singles competitor? If not, would you like to rejoin The Beautiful People someday or make your own new tag team?
Being a co-creator of The Beautiful People along with Velvet was a lot of fun. We had some awesome experiences together and having Madison thrown into the mix just added to it. I definitely liked being in a group but I’m a very independent woman and liked doing some things on my own as well. So I guess I’m a “have my cake and eat it too” kind of girl because I really liked both!
Question 4: Are you still as close with Velvet & Madison since parting ways with them, and now feuding with them? You seem’d like the best of friends before parting ways with TNA back in 2009.
We were the best of friends. But I think its pretty obvious how we feel about eachother now!

Knockouts Tag Team Title Match: Velvet Sky & Lacey Von Erich vs Sarita & Taylor Wilde
Sarita and Velvet start, Sarita with a go behind but Velvet reverses to an overhook hiptoss. Sarita mocks her with a little dance then rolls her up for 2, then tags in Taylor who hits a rolling senton for 2. Taylor with a blind tag and a boot to the face of Velvet then sweeps the legs and a double team elbowdrop followed by a three quarter nelson by Sarita for 2. Taylor tags back in and hits a running dropkick to the face of Velvet for 2, but Lacey nails her from the outside and tags herself in. Velvet and Lacey ram Taylor into the corner and hit a double clothesline and Lacey with the clawslam on Taylor for the win.
Winners: The Beautiful People
Puppet leaves the broadcast booth and runs into the ring with the Beautiful People and they all start dancing with him…until he runs over and slaps Velvet on the ass. Suddenly the mood changes and Velvet slaps him and Madison DDTs him, and then they stomp the hell out of him while Lacey just stands there and looks confused. She goes to check on him, but it was just a ruse, as Puppet suckers her into a big liplock…and Lacey likes it! They start rolling around in the middle of the ring making out as Velvet stands on the ramp looking disgusted.

Hustle photographer Bob Mulrenin captured these photos of TNA Knockout Velvet Sky of The Beautiful People at a recent independent show in Queens, New York. The former Northeast independent star, who was once billed as Talia Madison, was trained by ECW Original Jason Knight in Waterbury, Connecticut, and has become one of the biggest female stars in the pro wrestling industry since then. Velvet will be appearing along with the rest of the TNA roster on TNA iMPACT! this Thursday at 9pm Eastern time on SpikeTV.

Thank you to Scott for sending this in to me. On May 15th Velvet Sky had an appearance in Flushing, NY for Impact Championship Wrestling’s “Aftermath” event. Below are a more detailed results from the show and I have added 23 brand new photos from the event to the gallery.
The Women Superstars Uncensored (WSU) World Champion Mercedes Martinez, teamed up with the number contender to her title in Miss Alicia, and together the two women took on an equal foe, Brittney Savage, who chose a ‘dream’ tag team partner for herself, the former Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Knockout Champion, Velvet Sky. It would be a match with drastic ramifications for the WSU Champion, as she would suffer a rare pin fall at the hands of Brittney Savage, and largely due to the actions of Miss Alicia, who blindly hit the champion with her ‘A Bomb’, leaving Martinez vulnerable for the defeat. It wouldn’t come without retaliation later.
A special guest referee, Traci Brooks was signed on to officiate the match, and in the early goings of the bout, it appeared that Alicia and Martinez would be a cohesive unit, cruising to victory over Savage and Sky, two women unfamiliar with each other. The epic team of champion and #1 contender worked over both opponents with relative ease. It would be Rick Cataldo’s evil interference on behalf of his charge, the WSU Spirit Champion Brittney Savage, that would sway the advantage to the rule breakers. Alicia would take the brunt of the beating before finally making the ‘hot tag’ to the champion who would restore some order to the match. However, when the action became too much for special guest enforcer Traci Brooks to control, a melee broke out. And while Brooks was held up by the actions of Rick Cataldo and Brittney Savage, who were working on the WSU Champion, Velvet Sky used the opportunity to spray the eyes of Alicia with her foreign substance, blinding the former champion and current J Cup/King and Queen victor. Alicia, obviously blinded and injured by the act, reeled backwards from the spray, and bumped into Martinez, who had just freed herself from the clutches of Cataldo and Savage. During the confusion, Alicia instinctively scooped up the champion and delivered her finisher, the A Bomb, effectively laying Martinez out. Cataldo, watching the scene unfold, immediately called for Savage to make the cover. It was a wise gesture, as Savage was able to pick up the one, two, three, and an unbelievable victory over a woman who many consider to be the very best in the entire world.

Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling returns to the UK in January 2011 for “Maximum iMPACT! 2011,” TNA’s biggest and most action-packed tour ever – with tickets going on sale Friday 4th June 2010.
Wrestling legend Ric Flair announced the dates while in London for “Maximum iMPACT! 2011”. “The Nature Boy” heads up the roster of stars coming to Glasgow, Manchester and London’s Wembley Arena. He’ll be joined by World Heavyweight Champion Rob Van Dam and “The Charismatic Enigma” Jeff Hardy. All three will be appearing for the first time in England as TNA Superstars. Also named for the tour are British stars Desmond Wolfe and Doug Williams, former TNA Tag Team Champions Beer Money and TNA Knockouts The Beautiful People.
TNA President Dixie Carter said: “The United Kingdom continues to be one of TNA’s hottest fan bases in the entire world. We’ve enjoyed great success bringing our live experience to the UK fans over the last three years, and now it’s become a tradition. For myself and our wrestlers on the tour, it has become one of our favorite experiences every year.”

You may have seen this up over at Lacey’s official website Lacey-VE.com & since she is a very good friend of Velvet’s and a part of TNA & The Beautiful People I thought it be appropriate to post this here to help get the word out. On Lacey’s official facebook page today she had some breaking news. The father of her son is trying to take him away from Lacey and she is in need of our help to fight for him. She might even have to quit wrestling if this is the case. This is what she posted over on her facebook page if you can’t or haven’t seen it yet.
Lacey Von Erich: I just found out my sons father is trying to take him away from me. I cant stop crying. My schedule has been so hectic he might win. I hope I dont have to quit wrestling. Who knows a good family attorney in California? I need help…
