Jamie got her start in wrestling by training at Jason Knight's "House of Pain Pro Wrestling Dojo." She came into TNA/Impact at the start of the new Knockout division with the then brand new Knockouts Championship. Velvet later formed the most popular women's tag team of all the "The Beautiful People" with Angelina Love. She won the Knockouts Tag Team Championship with Lacey Von Erich & Madison Rayne as part of a new version of the Beautiful People. Date: February 16th, 2012 Show: Impact Recap: The Knockouts have an over the top battle royal to determine the #1 contender to Gail Kim's Knockouts Championship. Velvet is one of the last 3 Knockouts standing with Sarita and Angelina Love. Angelina & Sarita double team Velvet and keep her down as long as they can. As Angelina is trying to throw Velvet out Sarita take advantage and throws Angelina out. It's down to just Velvet and Sarita. As Sarita is charging Velvet she pulls the bottom rope down and Sarita goes flying over it. Velvet has won the battle royal....so we think. Madison runs in from ringside and throws Velvet out making her the official # 1 contender. Detailed Results

* Angelina Love is out. She calls Velvet Sky a bitch and says she’s not leaving until she gets out here. Velvet comes out wielding a pink belt. Angelina goes after her and beats her all over the place. Angelina brings her in the ring and delivers a scissor kick. She takes the belt and is going to use it until the rest of the Beautiful People run out. They hold Angelina down so Velvet can whip her with the belt. They beat on her and then pose to their music and leave.

This isn’t news about Velvet Sky, but it is important news to anyone who does watch Impact. Today TNA made the HUGE announcement that they will be officially moving to Monday nights starting March 8th. Below is a summary of the press conference today for the announcement.
At today’s TNA press conference from the iMPACT! Zone in Orlando, TNA president Dixie Carter confirmed what leaked out over the weekend – that TNA iMPACT! will officially be moving to Monday nights on March 8th.
As previously reported, the 2-hour show will begin at 9pm (Eastern) and go head-to-head with WWE RAW
for 2 hours. They will be live every other week.
Hulk Hogan came out says it’s “game time.” Hogan said being in TNA and taking them to Monday nights is bigger for him than any wrestling moment in his career. Hulk Hogan thanked TNA, Dixie Carer and her father Bob for all their help and giving him the opportunity to take TNA to the next level.
There was then a Q&A session.
Q: How long will TNA on Monday nights last? Will this be a 3-month experiment or is it a long-term thing?
A: Dixie Carter said, “Forever.” iMPACT! on Monday nights is a move they are committed to making and Spike is firmly behind them.
A: Dixie said they could have done either. They’ve moved time slots a number of times already and the fan base follows them wherever they go. Hogan said they want to go head-to-head. They want to take WWE head on. Everybody wants to see a fight and TNA wants to prove itself
What are Hulk Hogan’s thoughts about the first Monday Night War?
A: Hogan said it took WCW 6 months to get on their feet and start doing weekly shows in front of 15-20,000 people. He said TNA has a better roster and TNA does everything better. They will win the war because they have a better product.
Q: Were there any talks of iMPACT! going to 3 hours?
A: Dixie says no. There’s been talk of additional programming, but not a 3-hour iMPACT!
What kind of reaction are they expecting from Vince McMahon?
A: Hogan said he’ll give us the insider view on that – he expects no reaction. He said Vince doesn’t acknowledge his competition and will no-sell it, but the talent is cheering them on. The entire wrestling industry is a monopoly and people want TNA to succeed so there is another big company to possibly work for. Hogan said even though Vince won’t show he’s worried, WWE corporate is panicking.
Wha are Spike TV’s expectations for the ratings on Monday nights?
A: Dixie says they expect the rating to grow over time. This is a war and wars are fought over the long-term. If they can hold their Thursday rating (around a 1.2), they will be alright. Overall, they want to give wrestling fans something to be proud of and don’t want fans to be ashamed that they like wrestling.
Hogan summed everything by saying the atmosphere in TNA is like his church, where everybody is genuinely excited to be there.
Xplosion Match: TNA Knockout Tag Team Champions Awesome Kong and Hamada defeated Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne (with Lacey Von Erich) when Kong pinned Velvet after hitting the Implant Buster.
Velvet, Madison, and Lacey are walking in the back and then they stop for a second before walking some more.
Angelina Love and Tara versus Madison Rayne, Velvet Sky, and Lacey Von Erich
Velvet and Tara start things off but Tara decides to tag in Angelina and Velvet leaves the ring. Angelina hits Lacey who comes up behind Angelina on the floor. Angelina attacks Madison on the apron but Velvet pulls Angelina in and punches Angelina. Velvet with a snap mare and kick to the back followed by a choke. Angelina wants to kick Velvet but Velvet sees it coming and she leaves the ring. Angelina grabs Madison by the hair and brings her in. Tara tags in and she hits a slingshot sunset flip for a near fall. Tara with arm drags followed by a kick and snap suplex and float over into a guillotine choke. Tara tries to pulls Madison off the ropes and succeeds. Madison goes to the floor and she talks to her partners. They stand with their back to the ring and Angelina and Tara with drop kicks. Tara chops Madison. Lacey grabs Tara’s leg and that distraction allows Madison to hit Tara from behind and kick her. It turns into a three on one situation and then Velvet pulls Tara up while standing on her hair. Lacey tags in and she does a back flip off the turnbuckle and hits an elbow drop. Lacey then slams Tara’s head into the mat and tags Madison back in. Madison with a forearm but we get a double clothesline and both are down. Angelina and Velvet are in and Angelina with punches and kicks for all three women. Angelina with a spear to Velvet but things break down. Madison gets on Tara’s back and the referee has no clue of what is going on. Angelina with a bicycle kick on Velvet but the referee misses Lacey hitting Angelina with the ugly stick and Velvet gets the three count.
Winners: Velvet Sky, Madison Rayne, and Lacey Von Erich
After the match, Lacey hits Tara in the knee and chest with the ugly stick.

We go to Angelina Love in the interview area with Christy and Christy asks them if Velvet, Lacey, and Madison will get involved in her match. Angelina taught them everything they know but she did not teach them everything she knows. She says that they never should have replaced her and wonders how that is working. Angelina suggests that she might become a three time champion tonight. She says that she is awesome at revenge.
After the Knockouts title match, Tara and Angelina shake hands but Velvet Sky, Madison Rayne, and Lacey Von Erich attack Angelina. Tara punches Lacey, Velvet, and Madison. Angelina joins in the attack. Madison and Lacey are unable to take care of Angelina and Tara but Velvet is able to escape.
